Amber Beacon Light Mount Installation
Video Installation Guide
Follow our step-by-step video guide to install the MULTY® Amber Beacon Light Mount to your existing MULTY® rack system.
Step 1: Prepare your rack
The amber beacon light mount can be installed on any MULTY® crossbar extrusion. Once you have decided where you want to install the light mount, remove any end caps and insert 2x spring nuts into the top slot, with the spring side facing inward.
Step 2: Install the bracket
Place the amber beacon light bracket on top of the crossbar, and use 2x 5/16″ bolts and washers to fasten the amber beacon mounting plate to the spring nuts.
Once your beacon mount is in the position of your preference, use a 1/2″ wrench to firmly fasten it.
When finished, you can re-insert the end caps or plugs removed in step one.
Step 3: Mounting your light
Now you can mount your light to the bracket. We recommend using a drill to drill a hole through the aluminum mounting plate where required and bolt your amber beacon light to the bracket.
You can secure the wires for the light to the rack system in an organized manner.
NOTE: The amber beacon light mount is made from aluminum, and will not work with magnet-mount style lights.
