MULTY® Accessory Rail Installation Instructions
The MULTY® accessory rails are used to expand the capabilities and modularity of your existing MULTY® ladder rack system. These accessory rails are essential for installing some of our add-ons like overland gear plates and for side-mounting toolboxes.

Follow our step-by-step video guide to install the MULTY® accessory rails to your existing MULTY® ladder rack system.
Step 1: Assemble the accessory rails
Insert one spring nut into each end of one of the accessory rail extrusion’s middle slots, ensuring the spring is facing inwards (4 in total).
Slide one collar over each end of the accessory rail. Line up the bolt hole on the collar to the spring nut in the accessory rail, and loosely fasten using a washer and a short 5/16″ bolt. Repeat this step for each collar (4 in total).
Step 2: Mount the accessory rails
Place the assembled accessory rails between the front and rear uprights of the MULTY® ladder rack system. Insert an Allen-head bolt through the uprights and into the threaded insert of the collars, using an Allen key. Repeat this step for both ends of both accessory rails. Before you firmly fasten, ensure the accessory rail slots are oriented in the direction you want to install accessories. Finally, firmly fasten the allen bolts to secure the collars to the uprights.
Next, firmly fasten all four collar bolts using a 1/2″ wrench.
NOTE: You will require an existing MULTY® ladder rack system (Nov 2024 or newer) that features t-slot rail extrusion crossbars, and holes in the uprights to mount accessory rails.
